Jesse Dale: Hypertrophy and Recovery
Optimal training for muscle hypertrophy: Reps, sets and training volume are dissected. Exercise selection. Recovery techniques, which work and which ones to potentially avoid. Optimizing hormones. Nutrient and protein intake to maximize recovery. Protein and carbohydrate intake for maximal training. Supplementation for strength, recovery and general health.
After completing the module students will be aligned to design a resistant training program that optimizes muscle mass and strength gains for physique or sports purposes. Students will receive tactical knowledge on how to instill recovery techniques into their training for better results and what supplements move the ball up the field the most from a science standpoint
Jeremy Hartman: Building strength and power with the big 3: squat, bench, and deadlift
For fixing your squat technique, focus on winning the walkout with a checklist and process. This involves opening the hips and drifting the hips back to fix “sitting down.” Additionally, military press the bar up, driving the torso and entire body up.
To optimize your bar path for a bigger bench, ensure your shoulders are back and down, pull the weight out, and maintain a straight bar path. Keep your feet back and down. For the setup, focus on building the arch, positioning, leg drive, and grip. The unrack process includes the start, descent, touch point, and ascent. Accessory work is also important.
When deconstructing the deadlift, understand the differences between sumo and conventional deadlifts. This includes torso positioning, different ranges of motion, muscle activity in the hips and hamstrings, and knee vs toe positioning. A checklist for the deadlift includes keeping hips in close, ensuring shoulders are in line with the bar vs behind the bar, and adjusting shin angles. Common issues include lockout, deficit deadlifts, and pause deadlifts.

Summary Speed training focuses on enhancing an athlete’s acceleration, top speed, Multi direction, and overall running performance through specialized drills. The Parisi Speed School emphasizes improving running mechanics by refining technique, posture, and stride efficiency, which helps athletes become faster and more explosive. The system is designed to develop athletes at all levels by integrating strength training, agility drills, Running mechanics, and other exercises to boost performance and reduce injury risk. We will cover the mechanics for running efficiently, and the exercise used to boost performance. Then we will work practically with participants in a hands-on-approach to improve running mechanics.
Objectives/take aways/main points: - speed is a skill that can translate to explosiveness that is foundational for an athlete in any arena. - basic principles are teachable by any coach using goal-oriented drills with understanding of rationale, mechanics, purpose, and attention to detail. - using proper techniques and intentionality, speed can be developed in any person at any age.
Devising the Athlete’s Playbook for Performance with Jim Beebe
Now what?
Athletes and coaches must answer this question constantly when new information and date are presented. And if there is no new date or information, the question must still be answered. Building a comprehensive training program to develop athletes mentally and physically in six areas: Mindset, Knowledge of their sport, working with Teammates, Training, Nutrition, and Recovery. Utilizing a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT Analysis) to identify and prioritize competitive advantages, limiting factors, next targets, and risks. Formulating a format for progressing annually, quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily to Win The Day.
Sara Myers: Progressing Neurocognitive Strategies to Advance the Return to Play ACL Athlete Post-Operatively
This active lecture and demonstration begin with developing progressions with both internal and external focus of attention. It will then identify progressions for working memory with multiple stimuli through dual task activity. The interactive based approach will also determine strategies you can utilize to implement cognitive progressions in alignment with physical progressions.

This session explores cutting-edge approaches to optimizing recovery through peptides, hormones, repurposed pharmaceuticals, and small molecules. Attendees will clearly understand how these compounds work at the cellular level to accelerate muscle repair, reduce inflammation, and enhance overall performance. Emphasis will be placed on practical application, including selecting appropriate therapies based on athlete-specific biomarkers and targeted metabolic pathways. Participants will learn how to safely integrate these advanced methods into their existing training and nutrition protocols to reduce recovery time and significantly improve overall performance outcomes.
